GAFFED hailed from the same fertile 90’s New Jersey death metal scene that was home to bands such as Revenant, Ripping Corpse, and Mortal Decay. During their early years, the band released 3 demos under the moniker of Ritual Torment, before settling on Gaffed. Under the new name, they went on to unleash 2 more demo tapes before eventually disbanding.

In 2021 during the boredom and uncertainty of the C-19 lockdowns, the band decided to reform. They went on to release one of the best and most underrated death metal comeback albums with 2023’s “Die Already” (CDN Records).

Off the heels of that album’s success, Gaffed has chosen to return to where it all started..

For their forthcoming sophomore album “I Can Feel Myself Rot,” Gaffed have taken their original demo material and elevated it to new heights. The album features a refined and punishingly heavy evolution of their past work, made even more lethal with superior production courtesy of Matt McGrath and Raven Recording Studios.

Over the past year, Gaffed has meticulously rewritten and reworked their demo tracks, injecting them with fresh ideas while staying true to their original essence. Thanks to CDN Records and Gurgling Gore, they can now share their early works with a global audience.
