TOXODETH - "Phantasms" cassette

One of Mexico's earliest extreme metal bands, formed in 1984. Their 1988 demo fgets a well-deserved cassette reissue. This is the first time this KILLER demo has been on tape since its original release!!

The sound on here is raw, primitive, and ferocious with a major thrash influence throughout. Later on the band would take a more atmospheric and "odd" approach to death metal with their debut album. But on this demo, things are still youthful and straightforward.
