Founded in 1986, France’s leading death/thrash act MASSACRA released a series of nowadays much sought-after demos prior to gaining international success for such classic albums as “Enjoy The Violence” or “Signs Of The Decline”. Even before they released their debut album “Final Holocaust”, MASSACRA had managed to arrange North American and European shows completely DIY-style. Their aggressiveness, violent stage acting and rigorous work ethic established them at the forefront of the Euro death metal scene of the early 90’s and made them the first death metal band to release an album on a major label back then (1992s “Signs Of The Decline”)! Now, it is time to unleash MASSACRA’s impressive catalogue again upon mankind in its definite versions created in close cooperation with the band’s former guitarist Jean-Marc Tristani and featuring previously unreleased or ultra rare additional recordings.
